Therapy never takes the same path for any client, and it shouldn’t!
Everyone is unique and comes to therapy for different reasons and with different experiences and symptoms to get unstuck and addressed, which means that there is no “one size fits all” therapy. Since you’re unique, the therapy also needs to be unique, and I’ve developed an integrative style that is rooted in intuitive existentialism and paired with science-backed evidence-based protocols to cause tailored change.

Existential Therapy
Existential therapy is the lens I will use to tailor the rest of the therapy. It explores themes of authenticity and meaning, and the "why's" of why you're doing the work, and how to progress. It's filled with deep conversations and in-depth discussions to help you build awareness about how and why you live your life, and how to grow in the way you want to grow.

Below are evidence-based protocols I use that have a high impact on symptom reduction and remission. I chose and trained in them because these are each well-researched and highly effective at treating the disorders they were created to treat.

Cognitive Processing Therapy
(CPT)
A cognitive therapy used to address trauma (big, small, and complex) and PTSD.
​
It focuses on the negative beliefs we have about ourselves, others, and the world, the emotions that are tied to them, and the event(s) that caused everything to become stuck.
​
This one is about getting unstuck, safely processing events and the emotions attached to them, and shifting toward more balanced, helpful, and tolerant beliefs.

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)
A behavioral therapy and the gold standard for OCD, anxiety spectrum disorders, and more!

​This one focuses on examining behavior cycles that might be feeding or making the OCD/anxiety worse, and shifting the behaviors in ways that, in the short term, are uncomfortable, but in the long term produce results that bring down the mental noise and reduce and/or eliminate compulsions so you can live your life again.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
for Insomnia (CBT-I)
A behavioral therapy and the gold standard used to treat chronic insomnia.
​
This one focuses on re-regulating a dysregulated sleep drive which often causes chronic insomnia. It is as effective and longer lasting than sleep medications.
​
Through this protocol, you can move from fragmented "bad" sleep and hours spent awake in bed tossing and turning to full nights of restful sleep.
