General FAQ

Do you take insurance?

Yes, I currently take Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Do you have a private pay fee?

Yes, I do. It's $150 per 50 minute session.

If I have Medicaid and I don't want to use it, can I pay your private pay fee?

Unfortunately, no.

Do you offer a Superbill?

Yes, I can offer a Superbill.

Do you offer in-person or virtual sessions?

I offer both in-person or virtual options, with the in-person option from my office in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Can you see me if I'm out of state?

No, I cannot. I am only licensed in the state of Colorado, and can only provide therapy if you are physically in Colorado.

How long can I expect therapy to be with you, on average?

The honest answer? I don't know. The process is different for everyone, and the presence of co-occurring conditions, if there are any, could extend treatment. We plan to do check ins every three to six months to ensure we are progressing with the goal of addressing the experience and getting you back to living your life as quickly and organically as we are able.

I'm not a therapist that rushes treatment. I prefer to do good and thorough work, and in my experience the has tended to take more time.

That being said, therapy cannot go on indefinitely (OCD would love that), so the goal is to get you in remission, living your life, and confident enough to begin trusting yourself and your ability to manage your OCD on your own, with optional/occasional booster or check in sessions following treatment.

Do you offer Emotional Support Animal (ESA) letters?

No, currently I do not.
